Arduino controlled Darning Needle Motor
This shows my simple ‘Darning Needle Motor’ being controlled by an Arduino board. The Arduino was programmed with a simple three led blinker sequencer. I installed a magnetic reed switch in series with the motor drive coil into one of the led circuits to cause the motor to fire only part of the time based on the Arduino program. This is my first experience linking computer logic to one of my homemade pulse motors.
