Darning Needle Motor — With LED

This is my ‘Darning Needle Motor’ with an LED added. The LED is placed across the electromagnetic drive coil in a backwards fashion. It is illuminated by the energy coming out of the coil when the magnetic field collapses. The voltage spike is higher than the 1.5v source but is lower in amperage.
