Micro Exciter – Worlds smallest ?

Continuing on with solid state wireless energy, I thought i’d look into making the smallest Slayer circuit type exciter that I could. Here is the uExciter. 250 winds of 24V ex-relay wire were wound onto a salvaged ferrite piece, found in a busted PC power supply. 3 turns of 24 gauge wire are wrapped around it. In the diagram, I forgot to draw the positive and negative connections. The positive is at the top, the negative below. The circuit will run from a fairly depleted Ni-MH AA and upward. It’s not hugely startling in output, but doesn’t need a variable capacitor, which I was surprised about. The original intention had been to mount the components on top of such a capacitor.
