Crystal Oscillator Exciter

This is a 13.6829 MHz crystal oscillator configured to light an LED off one wire. There are just a few part to the setup. An air core coil is brought into resonance with the 13MHz signal using a ferrite rod inside it for tuning. This experiment was inspired by the latest work of Dr. Ronald Stiffler but is not a true replication of any of it. In the video I say that I am varying the frequency but that stays constant and I am varying the inductance of the inductor.
