Hotwheels DeLorean – Working headlights
Another conversion of a Hotwheels car. This time, with headlights and tail lights. The SMD LED’s are salvaged from old cellphones. All LED’s are connected in series. The headlights are on a separate circuit to the rest and an AV plug is used for both circuits. Antenna wiring is within the car and forms a loop for each circuit. Wireless electricity circuit comprises a 2SD882, red LED across Base and Emitter, 1K resistor and ‘Walgreen’ 800 turn tower. the primary coil is of 2 turns of 18 gauge inside the tower.. The running voltage was just over 5V when checked (DC/DC converter with FWBR and smoothing cap).
