experimental setup using a car ignition coil & bedini in self-oscillation.
Added some new B&W 2408TL coils and .005uf caps courtesy of a good friend 🙂 And now have the primary in series tank circuit, seems to be more consistent, but could still be better…
2x 2n3055 npn bipolar transistors 2x ignition coils with no resistors -Test leads for connections -at least one 12vDC 3 watt led bulb -analog ammeter 0-5 amp (or 0-1Amp would work:) -12 volt battery…
New coils are in! havent worked on resonance yet other than making L1 slightly lighter than L2… so that i should only need to work inwards on L2 ??:)
On the firing of the spark gap, a high value Transient spike enters the coil from Top down, unlike how most wave forms start at 0 then rise… This one starts high…then DROPS DOWN…
This is probably very simular to the Kapanadze device, so I deceided to upload it.
trying out this excellent ZVS resonant driver circuit with 12vdc and 70ma, with rectified smoothed DC 21.11v across 220 ohms, operating at 221kHz with these particular coils. secondary will be optimized
High freq driver temporarily down, so i wanted to try something that most people could do with a regular high voltage NST running on 60hz. So i , measured 121mH on the NST primary,…
hi all, doing some experimenting with what i said i was going to. a Dual Resonant setup, properly tuned together, i feel this was acheived here. Clearly at least could use full length ferrite…
turning up the input power a little here, and it killed a string of bulbs, so wanted to show you all before they all burned out 🙂 then show how it’s outputting some serious…
