Radiant Oscillator Circuit / Don Smith Part 7 A: One Minute Run Time WITH Circuit 1 Farad Capacitor

2x 2n3055 npn bipolar transistors 2x ignition coils with no resistors -Test leads for connections -at least one 12vDC 3 watt led bulb -analog ammeter 0-5 amp (or 0-1Amp would work:) -12 volt battery (small 9volts works fine too) -capacitors for time testing ( i have 2.5volt 5 Farad x5 in series for 12.5v @ 1 Farad) Here are the observations i have made and some basic directions… take transistors 1 & 2 ( tr 1 & 2) and connect their collectors together, next connect emitter of tr1 to base of tr2 (your circuit is complete) battery + to amp meter +, amp meter – to collectors (tr1&2 body) emitter of tr2 to + of ignition coil 1, – of ignition coil 1 to – of battery HV out from coil 1 to HV of coil 2 + and – from coil 2 to load 1 Farad 12 volt DC Electrlytic cap across battery + and – connect Base of tr1 to EARTH GROUND **TOUCH THE BASE OF TR1 TO START,,, MAY ALSO JUMPSTART SUDDENLY UNPREDICTABLY, DO NOT TOUCH THE OUTPUT WIRES IF BASE IS GROUNDED. **DO NOT EARTH GROUND THE LOAD, but air antennas or long wire acts as ground and does increase brightness with out increasing current demand. You may use your finger alone to activate the base, successful experiments with 12 Watts of LED PARALLEL 3 Watt bulbs X 4 so far, driven with 12-24 volts (i used snomobile batteries, but you dont need many amp hours) use small batteries if possible, even 9 volts in series would be a good idea to get easy voltage. with a 0-5 amp analog meter @ 12v input, the needle should not move, @ 24 volts
