Bedini Earth Light—-replication.ASF

This is a partial replication of John Bedini’s “Earth Light”. It is an LED light that uses a simple one transistor circuit. The circuit design uses two chokes (inductors) instead of the standard bifilar toroid design found in the common Joule Thief circuits. I also show a graphite rod and magnesium battery (originally designed by Lasersaber) running my little pulse motor. That battery was too small to run the Earth Light but the design is similar to what John is using. His idea is to bury the battery in the ground and use it to run the light like a solar garden light.
