fried both my 1000 volt multimeters, replaced the fuses…& they still dont work… 😀 im lovin it It is very hard to tune, i’ll need to make the coils closer in diameter …i’ll make…
Added some new B&W 2408TL coils and .005uf caps courtesy of a good friend 🙂 And now have the primary in series tank circuit, seems to be more consistent, but could still be better…
I install a small solar panel and i will try to drive my pulse motor-generator, i hope it works…!
trying out this excellent ZVS resonant driver circuit with 12vdc and 70ma, with rectified smoothed DC 21.11v across 220 ohms, operating at 221kHz with these particular coils. secondary will be optimized
Very pleased with the results here, i really didnt think the coupling would be good enough, however, the voltage is actually too high to allow much current at this frequency to light the 12v…
I didn’t have good results with the aluminum but I only gave it a limited try…more to do there too. Things are looking very good, this demo wasn’t the best for showing that but…
Trying to get it all on one board for portability. will try a dc setup soon Adding HF now will kick some serious ass voltmeters are destroyed, only have amp measurements & analog meters…
Very pleased with the results from this new setup -Variable Freq and Pulse Width adjustable with 2 dials from 20khz to 300khz + with various cap combinations and 0-100% duty cycle -anti-parallel double ignition…
Just a rough test of the output of the biolite stove. The stove doesn’t have the greatest output, but when all else fails such as solar or handcranks this will have it’s use. The…
