Simple Two Magnet Motor

This is a simple two magnet homemade BLDC motor. I initially made it out of 3D printed plastic but then changed over to cardboard so anyone could make one. The motor shaft is a round toothpick coated at the ends with pencil lead and crazy glue. The magnets can be almost any size or type but I found that 10mm x 3mm neo magnets were the best. The support structure has a sloppy hole for the tooth pick at the top and a smaller hole at the bottom. Both holes are coated with crazy glue and pencil graphite. Any smooth surface works for the bottom contact point. The driver can be an air core coil copper wire electromagnet with a magnetic reed switch to turn it on and off. Even a steel paper clip can spin the rotor.
