Wine from juice – Quick Update

A follow on from the video about a week ago, where I showed the making of wine from store bought juice.
Tasting notes below –

After about a week, the result is a nicely cleared white, the red is somewhat cloudy still.
The white has a nice ‘pop’ sound on opening and pours with plenty of Champagne type fizz.
The nose bears no trace of yeast, now that it’s settled and cleared.
The mouth feel reminds of a Lambic beer, bubbles kick around on the tongue and the overall taste is of a good dry white wine. A light and fruited body (well it started as a juice drink eh).
The finish is pleasantly smooth, drying in the after taste.

The overall description is of a nicely balanced and unexpected real wine !
