Hall Sensor Spinner
This is an electronically spun “top” that uses a Hall Effect Sensor to trigger the electromagnet. The sensor sends a small signal to a transistor everytime the south pole of the rotor magnet passes by. The transistor then turns on for an instant and fires the electromagnet that spins the top. I also added a BEMF charging aspect to the circuit to harvest otherwise lost energy.
