simple way to get a nice spark without electronics (TROS), just a dimmer (triac) and flyback; variac is optional notice single wire ground connection – strimmer in SG is forming FROM ground
This is my large carbon and magnesium battery powering a flyback transformer circuit and lighting a 110 volt LED bulb to about 1/3 brightness.
The discharge with the saltwater capacitor is white and much louder. My camera didn’t do it justice…it really snaps compared to the discharge without the cap.
The Wireless Power transmitter system also works fairly well as a driver for a high-voltage secondary. Tuning will turn this into a proper Tesla Coil. Right now it’s just doing voltage amplification by turns…
Sorry about the sound…I guess we all do that with these things. I wanted to say (clearly) that the transistor gets warm even with a big heat sink…having a sink is a must. Also,…
I forgot that I wanted to show how the spark arcs right through the fairly heavily insulated extension cord wire. It arcs right through it if I hold the insulation about 1 cm from…
more accurate testing of part 5 do not hesitate to comment good luck at all
Hi all Experimenting with the stuff of my first experiment on this subject , i decided to test the exiting coil of the Kacher and replaced the pancake heavy copper 4 turns original with…
