Simple AC Induction Motor

This is a simple AC induction motor I assembled with parts that I had on hand. The design is a combination of other designs that I found online. I didn’t want to use AC house current so I used a 12 volt battery and a small inverter. A 110v to 12v transformer stepped the power down. This is a very quick and simple build. it was done to look at AC induction motors operation.
