Rechargeable Cell —- charged by Photo Diode

This is the rechargeable cell that I made being charge up by a tiny photo diode in direct sunlight. The photo diode is called a ‘Ceramic Base Si Photo Diode’ and is rated at about .5 volt and 1.95mA. Here is the link to where I purchased it:

The energy storage device here that I am calling a “rechargeable cell” may in fact be some kind of capacitor after all. This tiny photo diode had no problem charging it up even though it could only do it to 1/2 a volt with less than 2mA of current.
The motor being driven is my rendition of Lasersaber’s ‘EZ Spin Motor’
