Joule Thief: Supplement: Winding Toroidal Forms
I hope everyone who is winding toroids or closed forms of any shape is already using bobbins….. but I would not be surprised to learn that some people may be struggling with long pieces of wire, trying to get a neat winding on their forms. A BOBBIN of the correct size prewound with the necessary length of wire beforehand makes the process a lot easier or even possible.
