Witricity helicopter trials
First run. Wireless electricity is sent from a coil to the heli. The helicopter has had its internals removed, leaving just the main motor and rotor assembly. A receive coil picks up the electricity and a bridge rectifier makes it useable by the helicopter motor. Power is just 5.2V at 650mA, from a Pantech cellphone charger. As a desktop executive toy this would work to intrigue 🙂
