Small Coil Pulse Motor
This is a simple electric motor inspired by Grandad. I reduced the electromagnet to a simple minimum turn small coil. I was able to drop the amp draw by adding a small 3 ohm filament light bulb in series with the coil. A simple reed switch worked fine with as little as 1.5v. The amp draw is still very high but the reed switch alone could handle it with out adding a transistor.
