Old school bearing—–No magnets just steel on brass

This is a look back at one method I have used in the past as a low friction bearing method. It is just a steel needle running in a small brass screw with a glass bead as a stabilizing top bearing. Simple but it works —-and there are no magnets to deal with. It is not a great low friction setup but it is reliable and good enough for what I need.
