Bottle Motor … Part 2
This is pulse motor that uses a small plastic water bottle as the rotor. The capacitor is a 2.7 volt 10 Farad super capacitor and holds the energy needed to run the motor for a few minutes. The neon bulb requires at least 60 volts to illuminate and is powered by the dive coil magnetic field collapse when the reed switch opens. The bulb is connected across the coil.
