When an AV plug doesn’t work
This latest build of the 3 Coil Exciter has taken on a strange trait.
An AV plug or a Stiffler Loop doesn’t respond much at all, yet receiver coils much further away respond fine.
No matter where the tuning capacitor is along its range, there is no output from the an AV plug, except near the end of the L3 coil.
The L2 is 100 turns of 28AWG on the case from a marker pen.
The L3 is 100 turns of 28AWG on 1/2″ PVC pipe.
Frequency is 10.1MHz
