Dr. Stiffler SFM – no electrical connection
A step by step in a way, as I sat down to get this circuit running without wired connections.
The DS203 is internal lipo battery powered, removing thoughts of mains interference.
The ferrite rod is needed, because the tuning frequency increases with the removal position of the rod. 2Mhz equates to the rod mostly in, 9Mhz relates to the rod mostly out. Complete removal would therefore result in a higher driving frequency – the 18.753MHz of Dr. Stiffler’s being in line with that.
The output from the generator is very low, so the output compared to Dr. Stiffler’s videos has to have that factored….plus I don’t have the years of experience that he has !
It does prove, however, that his circuit does what he says it does.
