Broken quadcopter – converted to….

The pico quad Fluoreon FX-10 never did fly correctly. I even swapped out one motor for a spare and it was still squirrely, regardless of trimming, resetting the gyro and more.
So, what to do ?

The pic, midway through the video shows the quite simple but microscopic conversion. Things get trickier when realised that the tape in the pic is covering the lipo connections !.
In short, the gyro had to be defeated, yet, the quadcopter has to still see it as present else it won’t bind.

This differential thrust method gives a very light, 2.4GHz system that on this aircraft results in a ready to fly weight of just 7 grams.
Lipo is a 1S 80mAh.
