Wobbling Needle Pulse Motor
This is a simple electric motor that uses the wobbling action of a sewing needle rotor shaft to perform the circuit switching needed to run the motor. This was an accidental find and I was very surprised that it worked. The eye of the needle wobbles around inside the very loose upper bass bearing and the magic happens
