USB Mini Tesla Coil

This shows my ‘Mini Tesla Coil’ being powered by a small USB cell phone charger wall outlet transformer. My ‘Mini Tesla Coil” works on a similar principle as other Tesla coils but is NOT a true Tesla Coil in the traditional sense.. This electrostatic device is called a Slayer Exciter. Gary Bluer invented it in 2010 but the circuit and build instructions can be found using a Google search. There are many variants. You can purchase one from Gary. My ‘Mini Tesla Coil” is my own design but is based on the original circuit.
