This mill produces, with this waterbrake, hot water for heating the house. Now at 21year, with free hot water. Heat equal to 21000 liters of oil – 5500 gallons.
Just like the brakes on your car become hot, when braking.
The turbine blade is 5 meters long and runs with variable
rpm, in order to obtain maximum efficiency. Runs up to max 300 rpm. Gives usually heat corresponding to 5 Kw/h. Max 13 Kw/h.
The waterbrake contains 2.5 liters of water, which can be up to 80 degrees Celsius hot.
The water brake has an automatic overbrake function, so the turbine blade stall, and the mills don`t drive too fast and crashing. It also acts as a pump, to pump the heated water to the house.
