trying to quiet this thing down! it is quite loud
the AL cover needs to be facing the heat… i knew that but i tried it any way… it melted the insulation that was on the AL. but that’s all good. still is fine and i don’t think I’m even going to fix it. still looks and works fine. the silicone wrap did not melt even at the header. so i could have just left it like that.
i also ended up putting the original silencer back together. for now. the steal wool was ok but it relay did not make that much of a difference
