Easy Soil Audio System

Derived from experiments a couple of years ago, this is a simple indoor method to transfer audio across a short distance without wires.

Soil is simply scooped into a suitable container and can be firmly pressed if wished..doing so will help the audio transfer distance. Also, water and probably salt would help.

Output volume is similar to the original headphone volume from an audio device. For this demo, the speaker is one from an ancient telephone, as used with crystal radio’s, but a standard earphone works fine.

I repaired the Coby Kyros (MID7033) a couple of months ago, it needing a reflash of the ROM. ‘Vampirefo’ created a fantastic route around the problems for us owners, these tablets have no factory firmware and Coby have gone bust.
