Joule Thief: Coupled JTs?
Here’s an interesting effect I discovered just now.
Don’t think your JTs are inactive just because the light goes out! Something may still be happening. Oscillations may start and stop without lighting the LED, outside events may push the things over the threshold, the battery can regenerate and start the oscillations, even some kind of coupling from other nearby JTs can have unexpected effects.
