We have been running a Google Hangout Videochat with Calvin and Frank about the replication of the Nickel-Zinc accumulator Youtube User Eflose presented a while ago here:

Well, we have achieved now almost the same performance, but I don´t yet have the right Nickel-alloy plate, but I am also getting 1.95 Volts.
Calvin already got 700 mA discharge shortcircuit current out of his cell and also about 1.85 Volts.
He had unfortunately some problems with his Internet connection only going via mobile phone data rates..

Well tommorow I will get me another nickel plate out of an old NiMH battery and retry this experiment and will see, if I can also get the huge current outputs of the batteries..
