Joule Thief Surplus Flash Circuit II

A surplus flash circuit light utilizing a Phillips LED bulb intended for 120 volt mains energy. This expensive bulb is no where near as good as the Lights Of America 27 chip LED bulbs that are about 1/3 the cost. I had purchased this bulb a while back and was not happy with the low light output when running off the mains. The driver circuit had to be removed and the bulb gutted in order to use with the flash circuit driver. Now, it is much brighter, although not as bright as the LOA bulbs. I just got in 10 more of these surplus flash circuits from electronic goldmine. Only $.50/each (US) when purchased in lots of 10. This is a great deal. See my earlier video for an explanation on how to modify these boards into JT circuits. It is very easy. Warning: High Voltage! Do not try this at home. Thumbs up if you light free light from “dead” batteries. Thanks for watching.
