38 Don Smith Device Project: Magnetic Quenching of Spark- Gap and Some Fine Tuning

Hi all, just taking some advice to try magnets to quench the gap and cut it off sooner for sharper Off-time between firing. looks good Input here was 75vac@ 300mA, and sufficient voltage across the 60watt 12v auto bulb. cool stuff. L1 has 10nf and L2 has 160nf, the nst primary has 60uf parallel to terminals for 60hz resonance 😉
