CAT Exciter Version 2.0 – codename Bellisimo

Now dispensing with a traditional Tesla tower, this second version aims to further move toward the circuit as dreamed by Italian friend Ciro. Measuring approx 2″ x 1″ of the main circuit, this tiny exciter also features 2 Jacob’s Ladder type prongs, to transmit the wireless energy from the ferrite coil into the air. The codename for this version has been Bellisimo. The final version is intended to be cigarette box sized, as stated in a recent email from Ciro as the circuit size, be boxed and have slightly longer prongs extending from that box. Also, it is to be powered by a 9V battery, to stay true to the circuit as originally forwarded. Bellisimo works great, uses about the smallest coil i’ve ever wound for an exciter type circuit and behaves very strangely regarding pickup on an AM radio. The output is specific to a band frequency. Thanks must be given to Graeme in Australia (YalgorupIT on YouTube), who suggested radio experimentation. His thoughts on such devices have proven most valuable and insightful. My play about at the end of this video, jamming along to Josh Wink – Higher State of Consciousness is both an appropriate title for a track and also a good indicator (I hope) of the far reaching possibilities of the final CAT Exciter. Bearing in mind that the original TB-303’s are worth around $2500 these days !!!!, just being able to plink plonk about with something homemade is gratifying enough….but it also produces wireless electricity form tiny voltage sources
