Lead-Acid battery converted to Lead-Alum
This shows an old dried up 12v Lead-Acid battery converted to a Lead-Alum battery. The battery had been sitting for several years but still had a dry charge of about 5v on it. After conversion to the Alum & distilled water electrolyte and cycling, the voltage came up to about 10 volts and the battery is able to do work again on items that will run on the lower voltage.
