Wireless Power: Nail Motor Running on Wireless Power, Stored Power
The simple Nail Motor demonstrator is hooked up to the DC output of a wireless receiver and run for a while that way. I’m amazed actually, it runs quite well, better even than from a battery. There is clearly plenty of current available at the DC output of the receiver. But when I turned off the wireless power transmitter, the motor kept running! Is it running on the big capacitor in the receiver? Maybe….
