1.60 volts with 1 amp cell This is a magnesium rod with # 14 bare copper wire wrapped around the rod, the copper is touching the mag, after awhile the mag gets an oxide coating on it and then you start getting readings as listed above The liquid mix is salt and hydrogen peroxide The interesting thing about this cell, is that where ever the copper is touching the mag, the mag does not corrode, you will end up with a threaded mag rod that matches the copper windings Best of luck
