Don Smith Device Project Part 21: New coils CW CW and Primary Series LC Tank, Overall Improvement ?
Added some new B&W 2408TL coils and .005uf caps courtesy of a good friend 🙂 And now have the primary in series tank circuit, seems to be more consistent, but could still be better as parallel, idk fo certain because i keep changing more than 1 variable. But these will be the coils i will be working with, and this is just the beginning 🙂 It is all the much closer to resonance because now the neon will light to the air 🙂 The next step will be matching exact values on the caps 🙂 Also, the caps on L2 are parallel to the outer hot ends. with ground removed and put on the battery neg only, but now iam having the neon Still light on the battery terminals?? 😉 New projects underway 🙂
