Mini SSG

First run of a mini Bedini SSG built today. The idea, has been to further understandings of the circuit, using bigger batteries than my usual 1.5V forays. No idea of current used yet…just a test that it would run. The 12V battery on charge is a sealed car battery that water can’t be added to. It failed in winter 2008 on our car and wouldn’t charge at all the next summer. It was sat outside in the garden awaiting some type of disposal. Voltage read 0.00V nothing on the amps either. Yesterday, with a few minutes run, it sat at about 9.8V, so today is a continuation of charge testing. After the run in the video it settled to 12.10V and I intend to run the circuit for longer and see what happens 🙂 Other batteries will be tested too (from 6V SLA to 7.2V cordless drill types) Transistor is C5387 100ohm resistor 1K pot 650 winds bifilar 5 welding rod pieces as core material Green LED w/100ohm resistor to see the circuit firing
