? – Flashing Oscillator

See Description underneath: I made a Dr. Stiffler type L3 coil last night, for use with the trigger coil circuit shown yesterday. All was going fine at 3V and 4.5V. Then, I placed 1 output leg of an inductor based blocking oscillator to the steel plate that returns to the Base connection of the transistor. well…at 3V all is still fine, but at 4.5v, after a couple of seconds, the whole lot starts to flash !!!! As can be seen, the LED of the inductor oscillator flashes away at 3V, as though powered by a low power battery. That flashing intensifies at the 4.5V setting. i have no idea what sort of feedback condition exists and so would like your views on what is going on 🙂 Background music is a random YouTube click remix of Requiem for a Dream and the circuit has no sound to light capabilities.
