3 x series coils for F1 pulse motor !

Speed – now that the 3rd multi-strand coil has been added, the improvement in top end speed is noticeable. The current draw appears to have gone down…AND..a coil shorting idea turned quite comical after the original video was shot. After showing the improvements and the running on a small house phone Ni-CD battery pack, the ‘bonus footage’ shows what happened when a 6V bulb was to be used for coil shorting tests. The 10 strand coil has 9 strands connected, with 1 ‘spare’ that is not connected. Cores are the stock adjustable ferrite ones that come with the bobbins that are on the PC necks.
