‘Penny’ at 1.2V – High Voltage

Some experiments today with Limotor’s ‘Penny’ circuit. The idea, has been to gain high voltage A/C, from a starting voltage of 1.2V (a rechargeable Ni-MH battery). The circuit was found to run a DC load, such as the shown watch, by putting a 100uF capacitor across the output that normally powers an LED. The wireless field and neon HV lighting ability are great, very pleased with the results.
