Lidmotor’s ‘Penny’ circuit – Replication
Take a look at Limotor’s channel for this circuit. It’s a blocking oscillator, rather like a Joule Thief in operation, but much more efficient. Many more of my mortar and salts homemade cells will run on their own with this circuit, than they would with a standard Joule Thief. Transistor is a 2N3904, very very common NPN Capacitor is a .1uF (104) orange disc ceramic Power line capacitor is a 100uF @ 16V I have 2 resistors, a 470K and the 100ohm (only the 470K is doing anything. The variable pot on hand is too small, hence the 470K.
