Magnet Kicker – replication

Mariuscivic posted a very interesting circuit the other day. No reed switch or Hall sensor needed to spin a rotor. Instead, it uses the power generated by a magnet passing a second coil, to switch a transistor, that then fires the powering coil. COOL 🙂 This replication was built to hopefully help out N8 on the Energetics forum, who has had trouble spinning his rotors recently with his amazing find of some Ford Model T ignition coils. The circuit will run from 4.5V and up. The coils will sing however from 3V.
