The Walgreen – wireless exciter

A surprisingly powerful little wireless electricity tower, as far as my own experiments go. This is the Walgreen, so named because it’s made from a pill bottle. Of 850 turns, the wire is from a small DC motor (little larger gauge than cassette motor Mabuchi RF-300’s), 2 turn bell wire primary of 2x tower diameter. It does all that my larger towers have done and yet seems more efficient in some ways too. Circuit is a Slayer exciter (see the work of GBluer) and the transistor is a C3198, the same one as used extensively on my Wensleydale tower.
