Singing Oscillator
Based on a Dollar Tree IntrudAlert, this system is powered now by a 3V wall adapter. The onboard 9014 transistor was replaced by a K1472, though the 9014 would probably do the same. It lights neon bulbs straight from the old speaker outputs and now does something a little bizarre. Seemingly only with the Tesla type towers connected and the virtual Ground computer heatsinks nearly touching each other, will it start to ‘sing’ ! (bases to virtual Grounds and tops free to the air). The tone changes with hand touches to the left tower and when an LED is placed anywhere on the left tower. The LED illuminates partially when the other leg is just held in the hand. An Avramenko plug hasn’t been trialed yet..I just grabbed the camera when the thing set off warbling away 🙂
