Self Starting Frequency Pulse Motor.ASF

This is a pulse motor that self starts and uses a variable frequency oscillator circuit. The oscillator starts with a low frequency that pulses an electromagnet. That electromanet pushes on an permanent magnet rotor that begins moving. Once rotation starts the spinning magnet sends a signal back to the circuit that changes the frequency and the rotor spins up faster and faster. Friction and the circuit component values limit the speed. The device is shown running on a AA 1.2 volt rechargeable battery at about 10 milli amps current draw.
