Pulse motor driving a SEC–on "back spike " power

This is a little pulse motor that I built driving a SEC 15 by using the BEMF off it’s drive coil. I show the system running on capacitors alone and also with the motor not rotating in self-oscillation mode. The setup is started on (2) AA batteries (3 volts) and then the battery pack is removed to show the circuit running on just capacitors. The power is very low and only two partially illuminated LEDs are used in the demonstration.
