Here the new Steorn motor v3, a more closer replication by Jean-Louis Naudin of the original demo rig version presented on Dec 15, 2009 in Dublin by Steorn… This model will be used as a bench for a various measurements and tests… More to come, visi…
Now the motor run 750 RPM on one NIMH Cell 1,25 volt and the current is 125 mamp = 0150 watt. Now I use a Buz11 Mosfet and a 9 volt battery to the trigger, the current is under 0007mamp….
Archive footage: Interviews with Steorn and members of the Steorn forum about Steorn’s Orbo claims from November 2006
In this archive film from 2006, Steorn call for engineers and scientists to come and test Orbo energy. Sign up to the SKDB to develop Orbo applications: www.steorn.com
When the Buz 71 goes ON. The volt over D — S is only 0,05 volt. A transistor has about 1,5 volt and 2 transistors have 3 volt. This give 3 volt losses to the motor. Not good. A Buz…
This experiment shows the change of the coil inductance Vs the rotor magnet position above the toroidal stator coil. I have used the Steorn motor v2 for conducting this test. I have measured the coil inductance with an inductance meter Voltcraft LCR-90…
This Window Bedini motor run 300 rpm and use only 0,0054 Watt power. One Led use normaly 0.0250 Watt. My Steorn motor use about 0.124 Watt. Can anyone do this bettet ??? Tell my . I have about 1,5 volts…
The best timing for my motor. Tested 4 to 10 mm. 6 mm is the best. Lowest power use 0121 watt 650 rpm. The toroid coil have 1,25 ohm.
Here a very interesting experiment which shows the current lag in the toroidal coils of the stator while the rotor magnet is turned by hand. This is a good method to wind the position where the coils must be energized by the controller.
Here this is a test of the Steorn motor v2 with the new high inductance toroidal coils on the stator. The is no induction effect measured across the stator coils, if the motor is unpowered at full speed and the controller disconnected. More information…
