Same but non-aluminium setup; 18″ disk and stator’s holder are made of plexiglass. As we can see it does not make any difference from Al setup. Mark my word there’s something else involved in this adventure…

Still hunting for “rite” magnets, but have some horseshoe mags with 5/8″ gap btwn 5/16″ poles exactly for 3/8×3/8×2″ rotor mags. Seems there’s some acceleration, but will it get into another track. It may, if only momentum of inertia will overcome forc…

With a new 18″ alum disc in double bearings tried different configurations of sizes and distances in stator magnets and found out that this setup most efficient (by lengths of run): distance btwn stator magnets equal to width of rotor’s magnet. Let see…

Have tried Mylow’s last WORKING set up. The same “sticky” spots reducing momentum of inertia and do not allow to get to another track. Maybe with “right” magnets it will do, but so far we have to try with what we have.
