Here we see a Joule thief circuit operating from a supercap only. No battery included. The supercap is 2.3 volts and 10F. I charged it up for 10 seconds with an AA (old) battery. I plan on getting larger caps for future experiments. For more information go to Overunitydotcom in the Jule Thief topic and please see Infinite Energy’s forum as well. Thanks. Lots more to come. …
I charged a 2.3 volt 10 Farad supercap with an AA battery for several seconds and hooked the cap to my modified Fuji circuit and powered it to illuminate 100 leds. No batteries included, just a single supercap. More on Overunitydotcom in the Joule Thief topic area. Thank you. …
This is a 2.3 volt 10F supercap which replaces my AA battery in the Joule Thief circuit. I charged this cap with a single AA battery for about 10 seconds prior to filming. I did the same thing about a week ago and the LED stayed illuminated for about 20 minutes. Again, this was from a 10 second charge. To me, this demonstrates that the Joule thief circuit is not just exploiting something inherent in battery design. If I am correct about this, th…
Have modified previous setup with rotor inside of coils — added two generating coils. Hooked to supercap it’s running for days; not OU though… …
bemf’s from both coils give a very sharp spikes on output capacitor, so it gives a chance to use a 600F super-capacitor (or other cap) as a power source to run a TROS motor, the idea here is to run the motor with SC and periodically just give it a power shot from bttry, in such case it can run really long time … …

A new Joule Thief circuit running on 3 supercaps. (2 are 2.3v 10F and 1 is 5.5v .47F) When the supebright led (28600 MCD) burns out after a one second charge to the caps, I can touch my finger lightly to the top of the transistor (2N3904) and the led lights up again. I can do this again and again after only a 1 second charge on the caps from the single AA battery. I find this interesting. …
The same existing TROS in disposable camera can run bunch of LEDs from 1.5v bttry. This time the circuit’s modified to use dc part of it. LEDs are those new 2W 120V LED clusters (equivalent 40W regular). But goal’s not to get light itself but get ability to run it for long time, so got one L-light to drive the solar panel which charging 5V 1F supercap connected in parallel with bttry. So, while one light is on, the another one chargi…

This is my earth battery illuminating 100 leds! I am using 2 supercaps (2.3 volt, 10 Farad each) in parallel with the earth battery to my modified Fuji Joule Thief circuit. This is connected to a string of 100 white leds Christmas lights which light up very well. I want to thank Jeanna over on the Joule Thief topic at Overunityodtcom for reminding me of what I did 2 years ago with a supercap and my first earth battery set-up. I had not remembere…
